Many kids who live nearby walk to the school. Kids who live further out frequently travel to the school on "okadas" or motorcycle taxis. We hope at some point to have a transportation van for the school to minimize the number of kids who have to travel this way. In the meantime, though, it is a powerful measure of our success that parents think so highly of the school that they send their kids from 2 or 3 villages over on okadas to attend.
The school now has a parade band. It is called the Pat and Gerry Neils Memorial Band in honor of two now deceased supporters of the school.
